About the Course
Located just 5 minutes from downtown. This historical 9 hole layout was opened in 1928. Named after Frederick Douglass, it was the first municipally owned course in the country named after an African-American. Douglass has hosted many personalities including Joe Louis, Charlie Sifford and Tiger Woods.
9 Holes, Par 34, snack bar with beer, practice putting green, leagues, outings and friendly staff to accommodate all of your needs. Summer Junior Golf Program.

Wednesday mornings the course is closed until 11:30 and Thursday until Noon for Leagues
